The Priory Academy LSST received £40,000 to part-fund their new robotic department.

Mr Jones, Head of Technology, The Priory Academy LSST, Lincoln (1,881 pupils) said: 'We were awarded £40,000 through the Wolfson Foundation's Secondary Education Programme. The grant part-funded the building of a new £110,000 robotics department which boasts 15 high-spec computers, a 3D printer and a laser print. The Wolfson Foundation grant application was straightforward because the academy fulfilled all the criteria. Myself and Mr Brown, Assistant Headteacher, compiled the bid with an extensive rationale which worked closely with the funding criteria and bid requirements. The interest and excitement among our students has been absolutely phenomenal and it's wonderful to be able to offer these amazing opportunities in the very latest technology.'
